Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and structured environment that helps players build confidence and develop the skills needed to progress.
- Provide a fun and safe skating experience for beginners and advanced players
- Teach correct skating and hockey technique through proven progression
- Promote health and physical fitness
- Prepare players to enjoy hockey for life — or transition into competitive hockey
Program Info (How It Works)
This program includes multiple levels: Snowplow Sam 1 & 2, Beginner Levels, Pre-Mite Levels, and Pre-Hockey.As players progress, they’ll build the skills needed to move into the next phase of their hockey journey.
Evaluations: Held during the last week of the session to determine readiness for the next level.Make-Up Classes: Available if a player misses a class — please contact Coach Cheli at 630-851-0755 ext. 813

How to register for a class
STEP ONE - PURCHASE A LEARN TO SKATE USA MEMBERSHIP, please click here. This membership runs from July 1st, 2026 - June 30th, 2027.
All skate school participants for learn to skate and learn to play hockey classes must have a valid Learn to Skate USA Membership purchased in their name. This $20 mandatory insurance membership is for one year, July 1st through June 30th, and must be renewed yearly. Please be sure to have purchased this on our website BEFORE registering for classes. You will be unable to register for skate school classes unless you have this purchased. Choose ‘Log In’ on the homepage of our website, then choose ‘Memberships.’ Each skater is required to have this membership. Once completed, you may return to the activity registration page and select the appropriate class.
