DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUES

This is Stage 2 in the All Seasons Developmental Hockey Progression.  This league is designed to give kids the opportunity to play in a team setting. Your child will take all the skills taught to them throughout our developmental hockey classes and utilize these skills in a game situation using the USA Hockey ADM Model. Both leagues are age appropriate. 

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DHL LEAGUES:

  • Equal ice time for all players
  • 1 Eval Game,  3 practice games, 6 instructional games and Chelios Cup Championship Weekend (11 games total)
  • DHL offers 10 or 20 skill session
  • Team Jersey, socks, awards and End of the year BBQ 
  • Learn positioning, rules and penalties 
  • Learn team play concepts of ice hockey & sportsmanship
  • Develop confidence in a game play mode
  • A fun and enjoyable environment for players and parents
  • Follow the USA ADM Model Program

STRUCTURE OF THE LEAGUES: SKILLS AND DRILLS PRACTICES 
SKILLS AND DRILLS PRACTICES: 
10 or 20 on-ice skill and drills practice days offered

1 EVAL GAME: We will have teams spilt by skill sets and age before the evaluation game. At that time we will move kids around to make sure each and every team is as balanced as can be. 
3 INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE GAMES: 3 practice games will give us the opportunity to teach your child  line changes, positional & game play, along with sportsmanship.
6 INSTRUCTIONAL GAMES:  We will have 6 Regular Season Games (which each team will play each other 2x). 
1 DHL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN: May 18th, 2025
On that day we will have a BBQ for everyone along with games and raffles for all friends, families and players to attend.

MMHL - MIGHTY MITES HOCKEY LEAGUE INFO
AGES - 4 to 7 Years Olds 
PRE-REQUISITE: Currently enrolled or completed the levels of Beginner 3, Pre-Mite Hockey or Pre-Hockey Levels
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL next year. Additionally, they will be introduced to the rules of the game along with 1/2 ice positional play.

PRE-REQUISITE: Pre-Mite and Pre-Hockey levels
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL or NHWL next year. They will be introduced to the rules of the game along with FULL ice positional play.
