DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUES

Note: This is a Spring League program only.

Players at the Pre-Hockey or Pre-Mite level in our developmental hockey classes are eligible. Evaluations will take place in March

This is Stage 2 in the All Seasons Developmental Hockey Progression. This league is designed to give kids the opportunity to play in a team setting. Your child will take all the skills taught to them throughout our developmental hockey classes and utilize these skills in a game situation using the USA Hockey ADM Model. Both leagues are age appropriate.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DHL LEAGUES:

Equal ice time for all players
1 Eval Game, 3 practice games, 6 instructional games and Chelios Cup Championship Weekend (11 games total)
Team Jersey, awards and End of the year BBQ
Learn team play concepts of ice hockey & sportsmanship
Develop confidence in a game play mode
A fun and enjoyable environment for players and parents
Follow the USA ADM Model Program

STRUCTURE OF THE LEAGUES: SKILLS AND DRILLS PRACTICES
SKILLS AND DRILLS PRACTICES:
Please register for developmental hockey classes to continue there skill based progression. The Mighty Mites and CIHL Program are games only.

1 EVAL GAME: We will have teams spilt by skill sets and age before the evaluation game. At that time we will move kids around to make sure each and every team is as balanced as can be.
3 INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE GAMES: 3 practice games will give us the opportunity to teach your child line changes, positional & game play, along with sportsmanship.
6 INSTRUCTIONAL GAMES: We will have 6 Regular Season Games (which each team will play each other 2x).
1 DHL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN: May 18th, 2025
On that day we will have a BBQ for everyone along with games and raffles for all friends, families and players to attend.

No extra cost. The amount above covers, jerseys, socks, awards and BBQ along with participating in the league.

MMHL - MIGHTY MITES HOCKEY LEAGUE INFO
AGES - 4 to 8 Years Olds
PRE-REQUISITE: Currently enrolled or completed the levels of Beginner 3, Pre-Mite Hockey or Pre-Hockey Levels
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL next year. Additionally, they will be introduced to the rules of the game along with 1/2 ice positional play.

You’re Invited to This Year’s Super Sunday Showdown!

Join us for the Super Sunday Showdown for the Mighty Mites and CIHL on Sunday, May 17th. Parents, family, friends and siblings are welcome to come cheer on the players!

Game Schedule:

8:30 AM — TEAM YELLOW vs. TEAM ORANGE

9:50 AM — TEAM BLACK vs. TEAM PURPLE

11:10 AM — Team CIHL vs. Team Edge

Please have your child fully dressed ready 15 minutes before game time.

After the games, we will have a BBQ for the kids with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and beverages.

Please RSVP with how many people from your group will be attending and what each person would prefer: hot dog or hamburger.

You are also welcome to bring a dessert to share. Please be aware that some may have peanut allergies, so we kindly ask that any desserts be peanut-free.
